Dear Club President and Secretary,

We are truly delighted to meet you all through this column. We warmly congratulate you for your election to these important posts of the Club. It is your united efforts that would take your Club to the forefront in District Administration and in carrying out various need based activities for the needy people. We wish you all the best in your endeavour.

Our this year's leader who is a true Lion and a sincere social worker Lion Vijay Bhandari has many innovative ideas and plans to implement and through his inspiring slogan Be The Change. He wants to give importance towards need based activities for the poor and downtrodden. His 6 point programme “The Game Changer” would amply guide you as to how you can excel in your administration and activities.

Any organization whether it is a social or business, Public Relation should be very strong. It is PRO team which brings people closer to the organization through its informative leaflets, bulletins and handouts. Hence it is very necessary that PRO of every Club should bring out their Club Bulletin periodically so that the general public can know what the Lions Clubs are doing, who all have benefitted in these work etc.

Soon the PRO team would convene a PRO Seminar and Workshop under the able guidance of our District Governor. This seminar would help you to get updated knowledge from some eminent faculty members. Please attend this Seminar with your Club officers which would be highly beneficial for your working.

Friends, you will agree to the fact that Scrap Book is the mirror which reflects the true image of a Club and this is the main reason why every year we have Scrap Book competition at Multiple and District levels. Scrap Book would explain the various work of the Club and also the achievements it has excelled. To compile this important book, you should start working from the day one. Start keeping an extra copy of all your circulars, activity photos with narration, news paper coverage clippings etc. for your scrap book. The rules and regulations of preparing a Scrap Book are explained in this book and follow correctly and come out with your elegant and excellent Scarp Book. The Scrap rules are as per guidelines laid down by Multiple District 3234D2. The Scrap Book would be judged as per its contents from the Region level District level to Multiple levels. Which means if your scrap book meets all requirements of the rules and regulations, it can win a prize even at Multiple Level which would be a proud moment for your Club. Yes, Lions, start preparing now be a winner always.
